In the 1950’s the most concentrated population of Mexican farm workers was not in Texas or California but in the cherry growing regions of northwest Michigan. This program explores their arrival in the 1920’s and is told by settled out workers who tell the story of the hardships and joy of working in the fruit orchards until the 1960’s.
